Wow, it's so nice to be able to listen to those 2 songs from this terrific concert - thank you for sharing them, and I love your review. It brings back so many memories:) The best Joan show I've been to!!! Segovia was excellent, Joan's voice was in top form but the audience seemed less enthusiastic and didn't seem to sing along as much during the songs where Joan encouraged us to join in... maybe that was because it was a small audience? The setlist was similar, minus Rossinyol, plus Day after Tomorrow (yay, I adore this song!!) and Sweet Sir Galahad, and minus Blowin' in the wind. A group of people hung around afterwards and eventually Joan came out to sign autographs and take pictures:) I have 2 with her actually, as in the first one she closed her eyes (and typical: in the 2nd one I look awful, lol). You could tell she was tired, though, and not enjoying the meeting with fans that much, although she smiled nonstop. I told her she was still the very best (she is, to me anyway). I am super nostalgic now, back at home... but hey, I have the London show in October to look forward to, so I shouldn't complain. Jim, the merch man, told me they'd arrived in Segovia around 10:30 in the morning... I left Bcn at 10:30 a.m. and was in my hotel around 4:30p.m. - they should have come with me;o) I didn't take any photos during the show due to my rather crappy seat (12th row) but I'll share my pic with her via email soon. You know, I've been out of it all since coming back and haven't even uploaded my 200 photos of Bcn and (beautiful, beautiful!) Segovia yet. I'll email you the link to my online album when I'm done:) Hope all's well with you. It was lovely meeting you and I hope we'll see each other again next time I'll be in Barcelona (trust me, there will be a next time! I lost my heart to that city:)) xx Hey there!
